Bouldering / rock climbing

Post by Dlap » Mon May 21, 2018 12:39 pm

Anyone into bouldering /rock climbing?
I'm always looking for new people to climb with, I'm more into bouldering than top rope
Anyone else climbing in KC?

I love going bouldering! I would love to go with you sometime to one of the KC bouldering gyms. Appears to be three of them and they all look pretty sweet. I also love slack-lining aka tight rope walking. I would love to find someone like savoy with hardware to help me set up a 1 inch nylon chord like two feet high between some trees preferably in the backyard where I am living! You ever mess around on one before? I think many people that are into climbing and adventure would find messing around on tight rope pretty fun! BBQ and tightrope party I foresee in the not too distant future!

Moby I'd be down to help set one up and bring a thirty snack and steaks! I've messed with them some, got to the point I can stand up a bit before falling over. :P #success

Never slack lined before but would be interested to try...we should definitely link up and go climbing!
I'm not into climbing in gyms though, I much more perfer to go find natural boulders to climb.. I find the mental challenge way more fun in the wild... Not a fan of people telling me this is the line you have to take

Heck yeah that'd be awesome I still haven't quite remembered whom is who on the forum and real life. Not sure if we got each others numbers but lets text and make it happen.

Dlap. I personally enjoy gyms and like them because of the padding ground and air conditioning. I am afraid to do real out door bouldering because I don't have pads, and am afraid to fall and die or seriously injure myself. I also find it enjoyable to follow the tape routes and some are technical and take time and commitment to figure out how to maneuver up to the top.

Omg message me on Instagram (bbyoliv) for some really cool climbing pics (and tips on how to get there)at a place we found a couple hours south of KC. It’s pretty hard to get to (mile through dense woods) but it’s so worth it. Best climbing you can find in and around KC!!
